ESE Meeting grant

ESE offers 50 Meeting grants per year worth up to €400 each for ESE members to attend an ESE meeting.

ESE Meeting grants are made as a contribution towards the total cost of attending either the annual European Congress of Endocrinology (ECE) or an ESE Training Course in accordance with the eligibility criteria set below.

Eligibility criteria

  • Applicant must be a current member of ESE of at least one year.
  • Applicant must not be more than 6 years post-PHD or clinical trainees.
  • Applicant must provide proof of eligibility.
  • The ESE Meeting grant is available for attendance at the ECE or an ESE Training course and can be used for payment towards travel, accommodation or registration.
  • Delegates from any European country, but who are not fully funded by industry, are eligible.
  • If the ESE Meeting grant is for ECE then the applicant must be the first author of an accepted abstract.
  • The ESE Meeting grant does NOT entitle the applicant to free registration.

The application must be submitted to the ESE Secretariat no later than 8 weeks before the first day of the meeting you would like to attend.

Applicants will be notified as to whether their application has been successful and the Treasurer’s decision is final.
